Butch Lindsey is originally from Marlow, Oklahoma, but currently resides Tuttle. He began his art career in the 1960’s, working in clay and still enjoys the primitive pottery firing techniques. Butch was introduced to turning wood in the 1980’s. Now with wood as his primary medium, he enjoys creating tops, kaleidoscopes, bowls, pens, jewelry and other items for the home.
His work over the years has been influenced by ceramicists, Paul Soldner and Frank Kriwanek and woodturner, Rude Osolink.
